Big Brother Naija 2017 finalist Tokunbo Idowu a.k.a TBoss released some stunning pilot-themed photos on her Instagram page a few hours ago.
There’s no doubt that the photos are gorgeous. However, we are looking beyond that to really appreciate the figurative expression of this “Captain” role depicted in these photographs.
You see, unlike most of the other housemates, TBoss was pretty much the only #BBN2017 housemate who didn’t come into the house with any special talents. She wasn’t a singer, an actress, a dancer or a reality show veteran, and didn’t really display any overt desire to be a star. Many viewers of the show even described her as “lost” because her purpose in the house wasn’t clearly defined.
Well here she is, post-BBN, booking all sorts of gigs as a model and actress – getting even more visibility than some of the other housemates who were entertainers before the show and had loads of experience.
We guess she wasn’t lost after all. In hindsight, we realize that her purpose in the BBN house was to show us that one can venture into an endeavour with zero experience, but still end up at the top as THE CAPTAIN.
