The air is buzzing — She Can Pray 4 Nigeria is back. This edition is themed “The ABBA’s Edition,” a reminder of the Father’s nearness and faithfulness. Happening on October 1, 2025, at the UNILAG ISL Field, the gathering kicks off at 8 am with free registration for men, women, and youth.

They’re calling the nation to come together, to lift voices, to pray, to worship. She Can Pray 4 Nigeria has become one of those faith moments that feels like a reset for your spirit. Over the years, it has drawn thousands who believe that worship is one of the most potent prayers we can offer.

This 8th edition is set to be a powerful call to lift voices in worship and prayer.

The lineup is as impactful as ever — expect Pastor Bolaji Idowu, Pastor Daniel Olawande, and others leading prayer and exhortation. On the worship front, the stage will shine with Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Bidemi Olaoba, BJ Sax, and more, voices that continue to shape Nigeria’s worship sound.

Bring water, sunscreen, a notebook for what you hear, and an expectant heart. Don’t come just to witness; come to engage. Come to pray. Come to worship with every ounce of your being. And come believing that God still hears, still moves, still loves this land deeply.

October 1 is coming — and when the field is full and the voices rise, there’s no telling what breakthrough will be born.

Nathaniel Bassey, and other gospel artistes leading worship at She Can Pray 4 Nigeria 2025.

On August 30, 2025, Tolulope Omoleye-Osindero, the Founder of Evryday Fabrics gathered a room full of trailblazing career women, female entrepreneurs, and fashion industry creatives, at the Nordic Hotel, Victoria Island, for the inaugural Evryday Style Hub Mixer, an immersive one-day networking and fashion experience that proved style is more than fabric, it is identity, influence, and future-shaping power.

The Evryday Style Hub was conceived as more than a mixer; it is a celebration of fashion as empowerment and a reminder that how we present ourselves can open doors, create opportunities, and tell our stories before we utter a word. The event seamlessly blended fashion with purpose, inviting women to discover how style can be a language for leadership, self-confidence, and impact.

Guests experienced the vision of Evryday Fabrics through carefully designed activities including:

  • The Styling Lab, where attendees asked one-on-one questions about their wardrobe choices and learned how to dress for the life they envision.
  • The Style Snapshot Studio, where each guest sat for editorial-style portraits, upgrading their personal and professional image with photos that matched the career and business conversations of the day.
  • Networking Brunch Conversations, where style became a bridge to connect with like-minded women, collaborators, and mentors.

At the heart of the day was a powerful masterclass on Image and Personal Branding, delivered by stylist and founder of “Light in the Marketplace”, Dipo Awolesi. He emphasized that “style is more than fashion, it is a weapon for impact, visibility, and shaping how you want to be perceived.” His words challenged attendees to see fashion not as vanity, but as vision.

Sharing the soul of the initiative, Omoleye – Osindero, states:

“The Style Hub was created as a safe and stylish space for women to connect, reflect, and discover how fashion can align with their purpose. Our desire was to go beyond fabrics and outfits, to spark conversations that leave women more confident in projecting the future they dream of.”

The day concluded with laughter, meaningful introductions, and portraits of women who walked away not just better styled, but also more inspired to show up with clarity, confidence, and presence.

With this debut, Evryday Fabrics has set the tone for an ongoing movement, one that sees style not as superficial, but as a lifestyle of impact, expression, and possibility.

The World Faith Believers Convention (WOFBEC) 2025, has been a transformational experience for believers across Nigeria and beyond. This year’s theme, “Soaring on the Wings of Faith,” perfectly encapsulates the life-changing moments that have defined the event so far. Held in two locations—The Covenant Place, Lagos, from January 5th to 12th, and the Chida Event Centre, Abuja, from January 8th to 12th—WOFBEC has drawn thousands of attendees eager to deepen their faith and experience God’s presence.

From the opening session, Pastor Poju Oyemade set the tone with a powerful message about embracing challenges. He reminded everyone that it is in the face of contrary winds that believers truly begin to soar, encouraging attendees to see obstacles as opportunities to rise higher.

One of the most memorable moments came from Pastor Stephanie Ike Okafor, whose message left a lasting impression. She emphasized that God’s call to holiness and righteousness is for our benefit, a reminder that resonated deeply with the audience. Her words inspired reflection, challenging attendees to pursue a life aligned with God’s purpose.

Another highlight was Mercy Chinwo’s spirit-filled worship session on the second day. Her soulful voice and heartfelt delivery created an atmosphere of pure worship, drawing attendees into a profound connection with God.

The teachings of Rev. Isaac Oyedepo have also been a cornerstone of the convention. His practical steps for soaring in faith provided a roadmap for attendees eager to navigate life’s challenges with spiritual wisdom. From soaring with purpose and embracing the pain to preparing for intentional shifts and cultivating patience through prayer, his insights were both actionable and transformative.

WOFBEC 2025 is more than just an event; it is a journey of faith, empowerment, and divine revelation. With each passing day, it becomes clear that this year’s theme, “Soaring on the Wings of Faith,” is not just a message but a reality unfolding before our eyes.

On Sunday, February 24th, Filmhouse Cinemas hosted a private screening of Baby Mamas, the first ever South African film to show in Nigeria (set to premiere in Lagos on the 1st of March, 2019 at all Filmhouse Cinemas’ locations) at its Twin Waters branch in Oniru.

Directed by Stephanie Zwane, Baby Mamas takes a look at the daily lives of four young professional women, each in various phases of their own baby mama drama. Although the different themes of the film are approached comically, each message conveyed is unfeigned, candid and thought-provoking. As the four women explore the many dynamics of being baby mamas, the audience is brought into the world of their witty charms and how they tackle the strained relationships with the men in their lives. With an ensemble female cast of Salamina Mosese, Thembisa Mdoda, Dineo Ranaka, and Kay Smith, the film highlights sisterhood, female empowerment, friendship, family, pain, healing, and love.

Guests such as Vimbai Mutinhiri, Yetunde Williams, Bolanle Olukanni, Taymi B, Sasha P, and Paul Chisom were in attendance of the screening at Filmhouse Cinemas, Oniru  and could not wait to share all their thoughts and comments on the film after it was over. Before viewing commenced, the guests were addressed by Matilda Ogunleye, Marketing Executive of FilmOne Distribution and Production. She asserted that the film is very relevant to the Nigerian market as we all need to start telling and redefining “our stories.” The deep disapproval and condescension that is attached to being a baby mama, especially in the workplace, and especially in Africa, is something that needs to be tackled head-on in order to shift the narrative and start changing the warped mindsets and perceptions of society.

During the viewing, there were lots of reactions from the audience it was clear that film had indeed provoked quite a lot of thought which translated into a full conversation after the film ended. Guests stayed behind for the round table discussion hosted by Vimbai MutinhiriTolu Bally, Azuka Ogujiuba, Titi Olatunji and Abimbola Craig all chimed in, advocating for a definite upheaval of current systems in place so that sex education was more open, more talked about and beliefs of pregnancy without wedlock being shameful no longer existed.

Reactions from the audience

  • “We need to pay more attention to co-parenting and the effect it has on the children” -Jayne Augoye
  • “One of the biggest issues is the fact, that we need to learn to orientate our young boys and girls from the beginning on sex and results”Abimbola Craig
  • “We have a lot of untrained men as compared to trained women in the society and we need to do better, so these men don’t shy away from their responsibilities.”Paul Chisom
