The BET Awards took place last night at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles and my goodness, did it radiate black excellence all over the red carpet.
From our very own Davido, bagging the award for the Best International Act, to all our favourite Black celebs being honored for their work, it was beauty and wins all around. Some of the night’s other winners included: Yara Shahidi, Beyonce, Serena Williams, Cardi B (who bagged two awards okurrr), Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar who took home the Album of the year with D.A.M.N…. just to name a few.
Our girl, Tiffany Haddish also took home the best actress award. You know she’s always ready. We love it when black excellence gets rewarded. Yass!
